Registration is FREE! Advanced registration is required for both in-person and virtual attendance options.
Poster Submissions for the 2026 Symposium have now closed. Accepted presenters have now received email notifications.
Posters must be brought to the Symposium during registration (8:30-9:00am) and picked up at the conclusion of the day (3:30pm).
Symposium Location
The Center for Urban Horticulture is a part of the UW Botanic Gardens and is located at 3501 NE 41st Street, Seattle 98195.

Check-In
When you arrive, please check in at the registration table located at the south garden entrance of the venue. Check-in opens at 8:30 a.m., with opening remarks beginning at 9:00 a.m. Coffee, tea and assorted beverages will be available.
Parking and Transportation
There is ample, free, on-site parking. There is additional street parking if needed. It is also possible to bike or walk from the UW main campus in under half an hour by crossing through the Union Bay Natural Area located behind the UW IMA center and E18 parking lot. Public transportation to nearby University Village puts you within an easy, ten-minute walk to the Center for Urban Horticulture.

Breaks
Coffee and tea service will be available upon arrival and throughout the day. Lunch will be available from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. During this time, you will have the opportunity to pick up your lunch, take a short break, and view poster presentations displayed in the Merrill Commons.
